Sharon Currie is a highly respected STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer with over 32 years of experience in the fitness, Pilates, and rehabilitation industries. Based in New Zealand, Sharon is passionate about educating and empowering new and current movement professionals through world-class instructor training.
With a background in dance and fitness and a deep understanding of functional movement, Sharon brings a strong anatomical focus to her teaching. She is certified across the full STOTT PILATES® repertoire, including Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels, Injuries and Special Populations, Rehab programming, along with Breast Cancer Rehab, Bone Health for Osteoporsis, Fascial Movement and Total Barre courses and workshops.
As an Instructor Trainer with Merrithew™, Sharon is known for her supportive, clear, and motivating teaching style. She has trained thousands of instructors across New Zealand and Australia, combining technical precision with real-world application to ensure her students feel confident and capable from day one.
