What You Will Learn:

Injuries & Special Populations Course:

  • Work confidently with a wider range of clients. Learn how to spot imbalances, modify exercises, and support common injuries and conditions—so your sessions stay safe, effective, and tailored to the person in front of you.

Across the Cadillac, Chair and Barrels courses you will learn how to:

  • Teach Essential, Intermediate and Advanced exercises on each piece of equipment

  • Use springs, bars and support surfaces to enhance torso stability, strength, mobility and balance

  • Layer exercises and build complete programs that meet a range of conditioning goals

  • Observe alignment, give clear verbal and tactile cueing and progress or regress safely

  • Modify sequences for different body types, postural patterns and common conditions

  • Integrate equipment work with your existing Matwork and Reformer programming

You will leave with a much larger programming toolbox, and the confidence to design purposeful, flowing sessions using any combination of studio equipment.

This specialised Pilates equipment training is designed for instructors who:

  • Have already completed STOTT PILATES® Matwork and/or Reformer Level 1

  • Are ready to expand into full studio equipment and advance their career

  • Want to build more creative, challenging programs for private and small group clients

  • Enjoy an immersive learning environment where they can ask questions, refine technique and practice teaching in real time

Pilates Equipment Courses

Cadillac Level 1 (ICAD)

Develop the skills to teach Essential and Intermediate exercises on the Cadillac / Trapeze Table. Learn how to:

  • Use the Roll-Down Bar, Push-Thru Bar, Trapeze, leg springs and arm springs

  • Create full body programs that improve strength, mobility and control

  • Use Cadillac as both a stand-alone workout and a complement to Matwork and Reformer

Cadillac Level 2 (ACAD)

Build on your Level 1 foundation with more challenging sequences and progressions. You will:

  • Explore Advanced exercises and integrated movement patterns

  • Refine cueing, rhythm and flow for higher level clients

  • Learn to program for athletes and well conditioned clients who need more challenge

Chair Level 1 (ICHR)

Learn how to use the Stability Chair to deliver compact, powerful workouts that challenge balance, strength and control. You will:

  • Teach Essential and Intermediate exercises on the Chair

  • Use the Chair effectively for small studio and in-home training

  • Explore ways to support clients who need more assistance, as well as those who need more intensity

Chair Level 2 (ACHR)

Advance your Chair teaching skills with more complex sequences and progressions. You will:

  • Learn Advanced Chair exercises and transitions

  • Work on smooth choreography, intelligent loading and safe challenge

  • Build programming ideas for sport-specific and high performance clients

Barrels Level 1 (IBRL)

Discover how to use the Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector and Arc Barrel to:

  • Improve spinal articulation, mobility and core strength

  • Support clients with postural imbalances and tight hips or shoulders

  • Add variety and decompression to regular Matwork and Reformer sessions

Barrels Level 2 (ABRL)

Expand your Barrels repertoire with more demanding work. You will:

  • Explore Advanced Barrel exercises and creative progressions

  • Learn to adapt these tools for different bodies and abilities

  • Integrate Barrel work into full studio programming for both challenge and support

Sharon Currie is a highly respected STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer with more than three decades of experience across the fitness, Pilates, and rehabilitation industries. Based in New Zealand, Sharon is deeply passionate about educating and empowering both new and experienced movement professionals through world-class training.

With a foundation in dance and fitness and a strong understanding of functional movement, Sharon brings anatomical clarity and precision to her teaching. She is fully certified across the complete STOTT PILATES® repertoire — Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels, Injuries and Special Populations, Rehab Programming, Fascial Movement, and Total Barre.
